Ginger Sea Dog

It's Thirsty Thursday, Friends! Are you a ginger beer lover? If so, read on.


Our friends at BVI Tourism and Pusser's Rum shared this great recipe that'll immediately transport you to the islands. It's a fabulous summertime staple for your BBQ gatherings with friends and loved ones.

The iconic Pusser's Road Town is located in the heart of the BVI capital on the island of Tortola. This waterfront pub is a must-stop spot and popular meeting place for locals and visitors. There's an outdoor porch or an air-conditioned pub for you to enjoy local fare (try the jerk chicken!) and thirst-quenching drinks.


GINGER SEA DOG


Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Pusser's Rum

  • 6 ounces Ginger Beer

  • Angostura Bitters

  • Lime Wedge

  • Lemon Wedge


Instructions:

  1. Place ice into a Pusser's mug or mule mug.

  2. Add rum and ginger beer.

  3. Squeeze lime wedge and lemon wedge over top of drink and drop into the glass.

  4. Stir briefly.

  5. Add Angostura bitters and serve.
